Activating the Banner in your Theme

Before creating your first banner, you must tell Shopify where to display it on your website.

  1. After installed the app, look for the 'Theme Status' card in the dashboard and click the 'Customize Theme' button. Or open your Shopify Admin and go to Online Store > Themes.
  2. Click the green 'Customize' button on your current theme.
  3. Look for 'App embeds' in the left top conrner menu and click it.
  4. Enable the App master switch there to turn on the App.
  5. On the left sidebar, click 'Add section' or 'Add block' where you want the banner to live.
  6. Select the 'Beacon' App Block and click Save.

ReminderYou only need to do this step once! After the block is added, you manage everything from our app dashboard.

P.S. If you change or upgrade your Shopify theme, you will need to add the App Block to the new theme again.
