Appublic ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your data is collected, used, and protected when you install and use our Shopify application.

1. Information We Collect

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

• Store Information: Your store name, primary domain, and contact email. This is used to create your account and communicate important updates.
• Theme Data: We access your active theme solely to inject the banner UI components safely onto your storefront.
• Storefront Context (Temporary): To provide targeted banners, the App temporarily accesses non-identifiable storefront data during a customer's browsing session. This includes cart subtotals, product page context, customer tags, and device types. This data is used strictly in real-time to evaluate your display rules and is not stored permanently or sold to third parties.

Critical Note: We DO NOT collect, store, or process any of your customers' personal data (PII) or payment information on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly to provide and improve the App's functionality, including:

• Authenticating your access to the app dashboard.
• Providing customer support and troubleshooting.
• Billing and subscription management via Shopify's secure billing API.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your store data only for as long as you have the App installed. If you uninstall the App, we receive a mandatory webhook from Shopify, and your data (including all saved banners and configurations) is scheduled for automatic deletion within 48 hours, in strict compliance with GDPR and CCPA regulations.
